My fellow Ab Dab alumni Tony often posts pictures of the food he’s about to scoff so I thought I might too. On Wednesday in Prague we took a few Physics Education board members and friends to a fancy restaurant for a meal. I had pork with black pudding and roast potato (just the one). Pork was lovely. Black pudding was in something that tasted like a spring roll. Not great, but an interesting combination. The roast potato was pretty poor. The chef needs to have a word with my mom, she’ll show him how to cook a proper roast potato.
Then for pudding I had strudel. It came looking like a little tower. Sadly mine had suffered subsidence but it had looked like this:
When the food was served it was all done at once by 5 or 6 waiters who descended on the table in unison and who explained what the bits were, sauces and so on.
The restaurant was the Bellevue. http://www.bellevuerestaurant.cz/
