Bushmen of the Clettwr gorge

While out walking we stumbled upon a previously unknown tribe, possibly of Celtic or Viking origin. They appeared to live on the forest and were adept with hand tools.

They made their own tools and weapons

They were at home in the forest and water held no fear for them (but we deduced that soap did).

They helped us to ford the river as some members of the expedition weren’t very daring explorers.

We watched them spear fishing in the river. But we don’t know where they got their chips from. Or their fish for that matter as it wasn’t a huge success.

One of the younger members decided to head off to London having heard the streets were lined with gold and that it was pretty easy to become Lord Mayor; apparently any blundering fool can do it.

Sometimes they almost melted into the landscape. Or perhaps the camera wasn’t very good.

As the sun started to go down they were anxious to get back to their mud huts for tea.
